What is changing?
MioCommerce says all subscriptions and accounts, including Premium website hosting, cease December 7, 2026. Embedded booking and contact pages, customer login and other add-ons also cease. Customers who cancel early or have overdue payments may lose access sooner. MioCommerce provides data export via Settings > Exports and a separate Download My Website Backup control for eligible Premium website subscriptions. It names independent provider Orphic as one option, but customers may choose a third-party website host.
Act before your specific access cutoff. Download customer, prospect, booking and other platform exports, and a Premium website backup if applicable. As of December 8, MioCommerce warns account data is no longer retrievable. Never assume that a WordPress backup contains MioCommerce booking, login or payment workflows; those must be evaluated and replaced separately.
Check the provider's official notice ↗ and any account-specific communications before deciding when to migrate.
Plan the move before the service ends
- Read MioCommerce's official closure notice and your account-specific messages. Confirm your own final access and billing dates, including any earlier cancellation.
- Sign in to MioCommerce and use Settings > Exports to download all available company data (customers, prospects, bookings and other records). Save secure encrypted copies; verify the files open. Do not send customer data or credentials in public intake forms.
- If you have a Premium Website + Hosting plan, obtain Download My Website Backup from your website builder. Preserve your current domain, DNS records, image assets and any integrations. Verify the archive includes both site files and database before relying on it.
- Map every feature that will stop: online booking and dynamic quotes, customer portal, forms, notifications, dispatch, payment links, website embeds and CRM histories. Select appropriate replacement apps and review data import formats and privacy/consent requirements.
- Test a staged website restore and replacement booking flow before changing DNS. Confirm mobile pages, enquiry/booking submissions, email delivery, payments, redirects, staff permissions, historical customer data and off-host backups. Cut over only after written owner approval.
What we need to assess your server or site
- Current provider and exact service or plan name
- Domain(s), operating system, applications, databases, and background jobs
- CPU, RAM, storage consumption, and typical traffic where applicable
- Recent backup status, recovery requirements, and tolerance for downtime
- DNS, email, firewall, certificate, integration, and IP-dependent dependencies
Independent migration support
TheAppGuy can review the workload and propose a supported destination, a migration scope, and an estimate. Any backup access, copying, test deployment or DNS cutover requires the customer's approval. We confirm compatibility and available capacity before making a commitment.
We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or officially endorsed by MioCommerce. A migration assessment is not a guarantee that we can accept every workload.
